Reheating Instructions
Our house-made frozen meals and soups are prepared fresh with care, using quality ingredients and eco-friendly sugarcane packaging. Follow these simple steps to enjoy them at their very best.
Frozen Meals — Oven & Microwave
Our meals come in eco-friendly sugarcane packaging. The base is oven and microwave safe — always remove the lid before heating.
Best defrost method
Refrigerator for 8–12 hours (overnight). Gradual defrost gives the best texture.
Remove the lid
The lid is NOT oven or microwave safe. Always remove before reheating.
Sugarcane base is safe
Oven safe to 200°C. Microwave safe. No need to transfer to another dish.
Best results
Oven Method

Preheat oven to 160°C fan-forced (or 180°C conventional).

Remove the lid. Cover the base loosely with foil or baking paper to prevent drying out.

Place on a baking tray. Heat for 20–25 minutes, or until piping hot in the centre (above 75°C).

Stand for 2 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Quick option
Microwave Method
1
Remove the lid (lid is NOT microwave safe). Cover loosely with a microwave-safe cover or paper towel.

If frozen: use the defrost setting for 5–10 minutes, checking halfway through.

Once thawed, heat on medium-high in 2-minute intervals until piping hot throughout (above 75°C).

Stand for 2 minutes before serving.
Storage & Safety — Frozen Meals
Store below 4°C in the refrigerator once thawed.
Once thawed, do not refreeze.
Consume within 24 hours of thawing.
Heat to above 75°C throughout before serving.
Soups — Stovetop & Microwave
Our soups are packaged differently to our meals — please read the instructions below before reheating. Always remove the soup from its plastic container before heating.
Always defrost first
Defrost overnight in the fridge, or place the sealed bag in cold water for a faster thaw.
Remove from container
Remove soup from the plastic container before heating — do not microwave in the sealed bag.
Recommended
Stovetop Method

Pour the defrosted soup into a saucepan.

Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently to ensure even heating throughout.

Heat until the soup reaches above 75°C throughout. Do not boil.
4
Stand for 1–2 minutes before serving.
Quick option
Microwave Method
1
Pour the defrosted soup into a microwave-safe bowl or jug. Do not microwave in the original container.
2
Cover loosely with a microwave-safe cover.

Heat on medium in 2-minute intervals, stirring between each, until above 75°C throughout.
4
Stand for 1–2 minutes before serving.

Store below 4°C in the refrigerator once thawed.
